European Debut of The All-New Geely Monjaro EM-i at Paris Motor Show
- Geely Auto’s first global plug-in hybrid D-SUV Monjaro EM-i to make its European debut in Paris
- Geely Monjaro EM-i expands Geely Auto UK’s product portfolio by entering the D-SUV segment
- The name Monjaro EM-i is inspired by Africa’s highest mountain
As Geely Auto’s first global plug-in hybrid SUV in the D-segment, the Monjaro EM-i combines advanced hybrid technology, long-range capability and a premium SUV experience, offering customers a blend of efficiency, comfort and practicality.
The Monjaro EM-i will be the centrepiece of the Geely Auto stand, giving Paris Motor Show visitors their first opportunity to experience the brand’s latest flagship SUV up close. Its arrival reflects Geely Auto’s commitment to bringing innovative, high-quality electrified vehicles to international markets and broadening customer choice in the growing hybrid SUV segment.
Geely’s GEA-Evo architecture
The Geely Monjaro EM-i is based on Geely’s world-class GEA-Evo architecture, developed from the ground up for new energy vehicles. With flexible space utilisation, multi-energy compatibility and comprehensive safety, it incorporates the new GEEA 3.0 electrical/electronic architecture to enhance the intelligent driving experience.
Powered by GEA Evo, the Geely Monjaro EM-i delivers space, performance, intelligence and safety. The native architecture enables an exceptionally spacious and comfortable interior. Its EM-i Super Hybrid system achieves a balance between strong performance and low energy consumption.
In the spirit of the summit – driving global mobility
The naming concept of the Monjaro EM-i is inspired by Africa’s highest mountain. Rising majestically above the equatorial landscape, its pure, snow-covered summit embodies the harmony of grandeur and purity, strength and restraint. Rooted in the philosophy “Peak Within. Drive Beyond.”, the Geely Monjaro EM-i represents an ethos of ambition and composure, expressing the essence of a strong character.
The Monjaro EM-i will be joined on the Geely Auto stand by three models spanning the brand’s electrified offering:
Geely EX2 A fully electric compact model bringing smart technology, efficiency and accessible zero-emission mobility to the urban environment.
Geely EX5 A fully electric SUV combining contemporary design, intelligent connectivity and everyday versatility, showcasing Geely Auto’s approach to practical and technology-led electric mobility.
Geely STARRAY EM-i A sophisticated plug-in hybrid SUV designed to combine the benefits of electric driving with the flexibility required for longer journeys, offering customers an adaptable solution for everyday mobility.
Exciting New Chapter for Geely Auto in Europe
Together, the four models illustrate Geely Auto’s multi-energy strategy and its ability to offer customers a choice of electrified technologies across different segments — from compact urban EVs to premium SUVs and next-generation hybrid vehicles.
Michael Yang, managing director of Geely Auto UK said: “With the Monjaro EM-i making its European debut at the Paris Motor Show next week, Geely Auto will use the show to demonstrate not only where the brand is today, but where it is heading next: towards a new era of intelligent, electrified and globally connected mobility. We are entering an exciting new chapter for Geely Auto, combining distinctive design, intelligent technology and electrified powertrains with a clear ambition to offer customers more choice”.
