Geely Auto UK Signs 100th Retail Site
19 October 2026 Geely Auto UK has reached another significant milestone in its UK journey, with the signing of its 100th retail site, Evans Halshaw Geely Mansfield. The contract signing ceremony took place at Geely Auto’s new headquarters in Ansty, with the signing adding three more strategically located sites to be operated by Evans Halshaw.
The 100th site will be a standalone dealership in Mansfield which will be Evans Halshaw’s fourth location with Geely Auto, with other new two sites in Newcastle and another East of Glasgow joining the existing site in Lincoln.
The achievement comes just under a year since Geely Auto launched in the UK and started establishing its retail network with the brand well on track to reach its target of having 100 sites operating by the end of 2026.
The dealer network expansion follows a period of significant momentum for the company. Earlier this year, Geely Auto UK celebrated surpassing 10,000 vehicle registrations in just 11 months and then registered over 5,000 sales in September alone, demonstrating strong demand for its products and reinforcing the brand's growing presence in a competitive automotive market.
“The signing of the 100th store marks a new milestone in Geely Auto's development in the UK. It confirms we are a credible player developing an established dealer network that can provide users across the UK with convenient and comfortable test-drive and service experiences,” said Michael Yang, managing director at Geely Auto UK.
“With Geely Auto’s first dealership with Lithia / Evans Halshaw in Lincoln delivering strong sales results in a short space of time, Lithia / Evans Halshaw has clearly seen the potential with Geely Auto and we have just signed an agreement to add three more Geely Auto dealerships to their group.”
“This is of significant strategic importance to Geely Auto as Lithia is the second-largest automotive dealer group in the UK, making this signing a real line in the sand for us. The addition of three more dealerships across the UK fully demonstrates Lithia / Evans Halshaw recognition of Geely and shows that both parties are highly aligned in their commitment to customer satisfaction and sustainable development.”
“We are proud to represent Geely Auto UK as their 100th store,” added Gary Armstrong, Managing Director at Evans Halshaw. “This demonstrates our continued partnership with the brand and our commitment to further growth across our network. We look forward to bringing the Geely Auto range to even more customers and supporting the brand’s long-term ambitions in the UK.”
